RankRaft AI Analytics for WordPress
Logs AI crawler and search bot requests from your server, so they are counted even when a page is served from cache.
Why a plugin
A browser snippet only runs when a browser runs it, so it never sees a crawler. AI bots do not execute JavaScript. This plugin records requests on the server, which is the only place a crawler visit is visible.
Install
- Upload the
rankraft-ai-analyticsfolder to/wp-content/plugins/and activate it, or install the zip from your RankRaft AI dashboard. - Go to Settings → RankRaft AI.
- Paste the site key from your dashboard under Site → Setup, and tick Enable request logging.
- Use Test connection to confirm it is reaching us.
What it sends
For each public front-end request: timestamp, hostname, path, HTTP method, response status and size, the visitor’s IP address, User-Agent and referrer, and the query string with sensitive parameters redacted. No cookies, form data, page content or logged-in user data.
Requests are batched and sent about once a minute to https://ingest.rankraft.ai. That address is fixed and cannot be changed. IP addresses are used to verify crawler identities against providers’ published ranges and are stored only as salted hashes. See the privacy policy.
Caching
Full-page caches can serve a request without PHP running, which would hide the visit. The plugin ships a cache-bypass self-test; run Check cache bypass after install and follow what it reports.
Troubleshooting
- Nothing appears in the dashboard. Check the site key matches, that logging is enabled, and that your host allows outbound HTTPS to
ingest.rankraft.ai. - Counts look low. Run the cache-bypass check; a full-page cache is the usual cause.
